Stephen and Lesley were married at Greyfriars Church Kirkcudbright.  Greyfriars is a beautiful church and it sits next the impressive Maclellan Castle.  The small chapel perfectly suited the relaxed and intimate nature of their wedding day.  Before the cermony I captured some photos of the groom and his best man outside the church and along the harbour next to the river Dee which winds past Kirkcudbright.

By the time that we walked the 100 yards back to the church, a large crowd of around 75 bystanders had gathered to catch a glimpse of the brides arrival.  It was worth the wait, Lesley looked absolutely stunning and was shocked to see all of the people that were waiting for her.  Photographs were taken afterwards of the bridal party and the bride and groom, the daffodils had just flowered which added a lovely splash of colour to the wedding photographs.

After the wedding ceremony the wedding reception was held at Arden House Hotel located just on the outskirts of Kirkcudbright.  Arden House is a small family run hotel with unspoilt views of the Galloway Hills and is a lovely venue for a small wedding party.  Stephen and Lesely had around 60 guests for their wedding breakfast.

Congratulations to the happy couple it was a perfect wedding and I was delighted to be your wedding photographer.  Please find below a selection of a few of the wedding photographs that were taken on the day.
